BURLINGTON STREET MINISTRIES is an Independant Ministry, and we are committed to Historical Baptist Principles such as the Priesthood of the Believer, The Autonomy of the Local Church, but in order to advance the Great Commission beyond our local area, we have chosen to affiliate with the organizations below.
Southern Baptist Convention. The Southern Baptist Convention is composed of 40,000 self-governing churches who are connected together for one purpose - to more effectively take the message of Christ to the world. Within the SBC churches are completely independent of each other. There is no denominational control or hierarchy, as there is in most other denominations. Each church is self-governed and determines its own affairs.
Green Mountain Baptist Association. The Green Mountain Baptist Association are Baptist Churches in Vermont who are affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention.
The Baptist Convention of New England The Baptist Convention of New England is made up of Baptist Churches and Associations in cooperation with the Southern Baptist Convention.
