STATEMENT OF OUR FAITH

In essential beliefs - we must have unity There is one body and one Spirit ... one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of us all... Ephesians 4: 4 - 6 (NIV)

In non-essential beliefs - we have liberty Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on disputable matters. Romans 14: 1 (NIV)

In all our beliefs - we show charity ...if I have a faith that can move mountains and have not love, I am nothing. 1 Corinthians 13: 2 (NIV)

Bible as our sole authority - All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness... 2 Timothy 3:16

Autonomy of each local church And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. Colossians 1:18

Priesthood of every believer - ...if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue godly men from trials and to hold the unrighteous for the day of judgment, while continuing their punishment. 1 Peter 2:9

Tithing - A tithe of everything from the land, whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, belongs to the Lord; it is holy to the Lord. Leviticus 27: 30

Immersion - ...having been buried with him in baptism and raised with him through your faith in the power of God, who raised him from the dead. Colossians 2: 12

Spirit-led living - Jesus said, "I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. John 15: 5

Telling others about Christ - But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect... 1 Peter 3: 15
